Mandatory school uniforms This paper discusses the need for mandatory school uniforms. Adopting uniforms should be a school-by-school decision. Schools should fit into place the whole school community in the debate on whether or not to bring in uniforms. It should not be a top-down decision. If approved, uniform policies should permit for religious expression and offer financial assistance for families in need.
